Imran Khan, the founder of PTI, is clearly surprised by the positive vibe surrounding his party’s leadership while he’s locked up in Adiala Jail. With rumors swirling about talks between PTI and the PML-N-led government, Khan’s not sure how to feel about the apparent peace between them.
While he’s not flat-out questioning his party’s leadership, Khan is definitely taken aback by how everyone outside seems so chill with the situation. He shared these thoughts during a conversation with journalists at the court, hinting at his disappointment with where the party is headed.
Meanwhile, former PTI speaker Assad Qaiser met with National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq to discuss possible talks with the government. The two discussed finding common ground on national issues and easing the political tension. “You convince your party’s hardliners, and I’ll convince mine,” Sadiq told Qaiser.
Imran Khan’s legal battles are far from over, with 188 cases now filed against him across the country. Currently stuck in Adiala Jail, he was re-arrested after being granted bail in the
Toshakhana case.
