University of Karachi’s Department of Mass Communication Launches Café de Comm
In a vibrant showcase of creativity and entrepreneurship, final-year Advertising and Public Relations students from the University of Karachi’s Department of Mass Communication, under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Raana Afzal, have introduced the innovative “Café de Comm” project.
This distinctive café event featured prominent brands such as:
Meetha and Teekha: A home-based bakery known for its modern takes on traditional desserts.
Bincy: Offering genuine international perfumes from top brands like Hugo Boss, Davidoff, Gucci, Azzaro, and Calvin Klein.
Baggie Beach: Providing stylish, affordable, and durable bags.
Cake in Process:
Specializing in a variety of homemade cakes with unique flavors and designs.
The event attracted more than a thousand attendees, with partner brands including Vital Tea and Frais Snow Flakes.
“Café de Comm” reflects the Department of Mass Communication’s commitment to delivering professional training in Advertising, Public Relations, and Event Management, empowering students with vital skills for the digital age.
Event Significance:
