Large reserves of oil and gas have been found in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Pakistan Oilfield Limited (POL), the Razgir well in the TAL Block has been discovered to produce 250 barrels of crude oil and 20 million cubic meters of gas daily. Drilling began in January.
The well is a joint venture between POL, Oil & Gas Development Company (OGDC), and Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL).
Additionally, POL recently discovered significant deposits in the Ikhlas block of Attock, yielding 714 barrels of crude oil and 10 million cubic feet of gas daily.
