Imran Riaz… Once Again Behind the bar

-

Renowned anchorperson and YouTuber Imran Riaz Khan was apprehended from his residence located in a private housing society near Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Area.

The circumstances surrounding his arrest remain shrouded in mystery, with neither the family nor the public being informed of the reasons behind this sudden development.

Confirming the news, Imran Riaz Khan’s brother Usman Riaz spoke out about the arrest, shedding light on the distressing situation. The family and colleagues of the journalist are left in the dark, grappling with uncertainty and concern over Imran Riaz Khan’s well-being.

Earlier, the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cybercrime Wing had summoned You tubers Imran Riaz Khan and Asad Toor over their alleged involvement in an anti-judiciary campaign on social media platforms.

The two individuals have been directed to appear before the FIA Cybercrime Wing on February 23, following the issuance of formal notices by the agency.

Imran Riaz Khan had been called to the FIA office in Lahore, while Asad Toor is required to appear at the FIA headquarters in Islamabad. The FIA’s action comes in response to their purported participation in activities deemed detrimental to the integrity and independence of the judiciary.

Both Imran Riaz and Asad Toor, who are prominent YouTubers and social media influencers, have been served with formal notices, signaling the seriousness with which the authorities view the matter.

Earlier, it had been reported that the law enforcement agencies have arrested the alleged culprit, who was running a social media campaign against the chief justice of Pakistan (CJP).
