The Supreme Court of Pakistan led by Justice Qazi Faez Isa ,has issued its final decision on the Election Commission of Pakistan’s petition challenging the Peshawar High Court’s ruling to revoke the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) use of the “bat” as its electoral symbol.

Following the completion of legal arguments from both parties, the court held its decision in reserve. Originally scheduled for 9:30 pm, the verdict was postponed and ultimately announced at 11:30 pm.

As a result of this decision, though Imran Khan’s PTI will be excluded from the electoral process but the entire practice of upcoming February elections will be deemed suspicious.
