On Monday, Pakistan’s 12-year-old Ayesha Ayaz made history by winning three medals at the International Taekwondo Championship.

Ayaz, who hails from Mingora, Swat, won a silver medal in the individual sparring event, as well as two bronze medals in the team sparring and poomsae events.

Ayaz’s performance in the championship was nothing short of remarkable. She defeated opponents from three different countries in the 42kg weight class, and her skills were praised by spectators and coaches alike.

“Ayesha is a true champion,” said her coach, Mohammad Ajmal. “She has worked hard for this, and she deserves all the success she has achieved.”

Ayaz’s victory is a major accomplishment for Pakistan, and it will surely inspire young athletes all over the country. She is the youngest Pakistani taekwondo practitioner to win three medals at an international championship, and she is now the best player in the Under-12 category.
