Bollywood Song “FA9LA” from Dhurandhar has quickly become sensation in India and across the globe! 🌍🔥
This Arabic hip-hop song is no longer confined to the movie—it’s now a viral cultural trend. From Instagram Reels to YouTube Shorts, people everywhere are singing and performing to its catchy hook. 🕺💃

FA9LA has now carved its own identity. The song, written and performed by Flipperchi with music composed by DJ Outlaw, became the center of attention for the Dhurandhar team, who wanted to license the beat for their own version. Due to time constraints, they decided to keep the original beat as it was—a choice that became a turning point for the film and for Flipperchi.
Unlike the film, FA9LA carries no aggression. Its core message is all about celebrating, dancing, and enjoying the moment. Here’s what some of its most famous lines mean:
“Ya Akhi Dus Dus ’Indi Khosh Faslah (يا أخي دوس دوس ’اندي خوش فصلہ) / Ya Akhi Tfuz Tfuz Wallah Khosh Raqsah (يا أخي تفز تفز والله خوش رقصہ)” →
“Brother, go all out! I’ve dropped an amazing beat! Brother, you will surely win, I swear—this dance is truly spectacular.”
“Helu-Helu Zayn Makanah Helu (هيلو-هيلو زين مكانه هيلو) / Il-Decoration Malah Helu (ال-Decoration ملح هيلو)” →
“This place is so beautiful, and the decoration here is amazing.”
“Sweeli Raqset Il-Marshmallow (سويلي رقصة ال-Marshmallow) / Rabi’na Hafouh Kilah Kamil Killoh (ربينا حفوه كله كامل كله)” →
“Dance the marshmallow dance for me, our Lord has made everything perfect.”
“Rfeejak Tayeh Jetfah Kan Yehizzah Hizz (رفيجك تائه جتفه كان يحيزه حيز) / Yai Min Zaman Awwal Layl (ياي من زمان أول ليل)” →
“Your friend is lost; his shoulder is moving—this all happened long ago.”
“Ambay Shfeeh ’Abboudi Yodhah (امباي شفيه عبودي يوده) / Lana Ihna Shayleen Hal-Laylah Yaba Sheel (لنا احنا شيلين هال-ليل يبا شيل)” →
“Look, Abboudi is calling; we’re spending this night—let’s go, come on.”
“Agool A’tini Raqsa Tiggli Sarnay (اقول أعطيني رقصة تيجلي سرني) / Agool A’tini Raqsa Akel Metay (اقول أعطيني رقصة اكل متي)” →
“I say, dance for me—it makes me happy! I say, dance for me and enjoy some sweets!”
“Agool Sweeli Raqsa, Hello Goodbye! (اقول سويلي رقصة, Hello Goodbye!) / Zeidli Shakar Wayed W Ana Ashrab Shay (زيدلي شكر وايد و أنا أشرب شاي)” →
“I say, dance for me, hello and goodbye! Add more sugar while I sip my tea.”
Flipperchi revealed that the word FA9LA conveys an emotional vibe rather than a literal meaning. He says,
“FA9LA is a wave (موجة). When I say ‘I have FA9LA (لدي FA9LA),’ it means there’s a special vibe running in my life. The song talks about different dances—I turn every moment into dance and enjoyment.”
He also noted that the song contains many cultural references, which make it even more interesting.
Following FA9LA’s massive popularity, Flipperchi has connected with Indian indie artists like Perm and Siahi and expressed his desire to collaborate with the famous Indian rapper Badshah. He also called Punjabi music “hype.”
Flipperchi shared that his stage name was inspired by the American rapper Busta Rhymes’ group “Flip Mode Squad,” his favorite group during childhood.
