Lahore has been buzzing ever since YouTube sensation Saad-ur-Rehman, aka Ducky Bhai, was thrown behind bars on 14-day judicial remand. The court move came after shocking revelations that the online star was allegedly promoting illegal gambling apps to his millions of fans
⚖ The Courtroom Drama
In Lahore’s District Court, Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo crushed the FIA’s plea for another 8 days of physical custody. Instead, he packed the YouTuber off to jail. The FIA had argued that Ducky’s mobile, laptop, digital accounts, and piles of cash had already been seized — and hinted that even bigger discoveries were on the way.
🔍 The Case That Shook Fans
Ducky Bhai was dramatically arrested on August 17 at Lahore Airport, accused of pushing shady gambling platforms like Binomo, 1xBet, and Bet365. His arrest sparked shockwaves, especially since he had earlier admitted regret over promoting betting apps.
The FIR is no small matter — it includes tough cybercrime charges under PECA-2016 and even fraud and obscenity sections of the Penal Code. For weeks, his physical remand was extended six times, keeping fans on edge until Monday’s bombshell: straight to jail.
🌐 Bigger Than Just One YouTuber
And it’s not just Ducky in hot water. Authorities confirm other creators — including Rajab Butt, Iqra Kanwal, and Muhammad Anas Ali — are also under the scanner in a nationwide crackdown on influencer-led betting promotions.
