A Lahore court has extended the physical remand of popular YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, for another four days in the ongoing online gambling case.
Produced before Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo on Thursday, the prosecution argued that fresh names have emerged during the initial five-day remand and more investigation is required. The court was told that a detailed report would be submitted at the next hearing.
Ducky Bhai’s lawyer, Chaudhry Usman Ali, opposed the extension, but the magistrate accepted the prosecution’s request.
The YouTuber, arrested on August 16 at Lahore airport, is accused of promoting an online gambling app, a charge that has sparked massive debate across social media.
