No More Matches in India—Pakistan Bans All Sports Tours!

-

In a dramatic move, Pakistan has officially banned all national sports teams from traveling to India, citing serious security threats. The decision comes straight from the top — the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) — and has been made public through a strongly worded notification.

No More Matches in India—Pakistan Bans All Sports Tours!

The ban was finalized during the PSB’s 34th board meeting on July 23, and a circular has now been sent out to every national sports federation, warning them to strictly follow the directive.

According to the notification, no Pakistani team or athlete is allowed to take part in any sporting event in India without prior approval from the PSB. This sweeping order means Pakistan will miss out on the upcoming Asia Hockey Cup, among other international events.

Shockingly, the ban has no expiry date, raising questions about how long Pakistani athletes will remain cut off from competing across the border.

The move has lit up the sports world, with some hailing it as a safety-first decision — while others warn it could cost Pakistani athletes valuable international exposure.
