Pakistan’s rising karate stars made a powerful impact at the 9th South Asian Karate Championship in Sri Lanka, winning 10 medals — including two stunning golds, one silver, and seven bronze!

The spotlight belonged to under-10 sensation Huzaifa Arshad, who kicked off Pakistan’s medal run with a gold medal performance. Right after, Aiyana Noel Arthur delivered a fierce fight in the under-12 +40kg kumite, securing Pakistan’s second gold!

But the girls weren’t done!
Areesha Nadeem punched through in the under-21, 50kg category, collecting three medals — one silver and two bronze — with unstoppable energy.
In the kata events, Sairish Tassaduq and Samrah Ijaz brought home bronzes in both individual and team categories, showcasing grace and precision.
On the men’s side, Hasnain Jamil put up a rock-solid show in the 75kg category, clinching three bronze medals across kumite and kata, earning praise for his consistency and power.
In total, Pakistan’s young squad took home:

Pakistan finished fifth overall, behind giants like:
