97% of Pakistanis Hail Army’s Performance During Clashes With India .

A recent Gallup Pakistan survey titled “Public Opinion after India Pakistan Ceasefire: Comprehensive Analysis” reveals overwhelming public support for Pakistan’s military and political leadership following the recent conflict with India.

Conducted between May 13 and 18, 2025, the survey found that:

97% of Pakistanis rated the army’s performance as “good” or “very good”.

96% declared the Pakistan Army triumphant in the conflict.

93% said their opinion of the armed forces improved after the war.

73% expressed satisfaction with the government’s diplomatic performance, while 12% remained neutral, 7% were dissatisfied, and 8% had no opinion.

87% believed that the war was imposed on Pakistan by India.

Regarding political parties:

65% lauded PML-N’s role,

58% appreciated the PPP,

60% rated the PTI’s response as “good”.

On the ceasefire:

91% supported the government’s decision to accept the ceasefire,

6% opposed it.

When asked if India would honor the ceasefire,

52% were optimistic,

34% expressed doubt,

14% were unsure.
