Indian content creator Priyam Saraswat recently gave his Instagram followers an exclusive tour of India’s first-ever 3D-printed home, located in Pune.
In the video, Saraswat explores the unique 2,038-square-foot house and highlights the advanced construction techniques behind it. As he walks through the space, he also interviews the homeowner and the project director who led the innovation.
The project director—hailed as the mastermind behind the build—shared that the house wasn’t built, but printed.
“We used a giant 3D printer specifically set up on this plot to print the entire villa,” he explained.
Offering a glimpse into the technology, the video reveals how the printer pumped concrete layer by layer along the structure’s walls, resulting in a textured, raised finish.
He further explained that the walls consist of two solid layers with a hollow space in between—used for ducts, pipes, and electrical wiring.
Inside, the villa includes a large living space and two bedrooms, blending futuristic technology with functional design. The tour gives viewers a front-row seat to a bold leap in home construction.
