For the Champions Trophy, a new main building consisting of two sections, along with the Façade and Pavilion buildings, was constructed at Gaddafi Stadium, leaving the ground field and the Far-End Pavilion unchanged. All the old stands were demolished, and the stands in the new structure were rebuilt.

The forested areas were cleared, and trenches were created. Efforts were made to bring spectators closer to the boundary. The old lights were replaced with 480 new LED lights. The seating capacity has increased by 15,000.

Underground water drainage was installed, and the new main building was constructed. The PCB offices were established behind the main building. Two new screens were installed, and a new road is being built around the ground. New chairs are being added, and new entry gates are being constructed outside the stadium.

In short, 80 to 90 percent of Gaddafi Stadium has been rebuilt with brand new materials over the past 5 to 6 months, and the project is set to be completed within the next 10 days.
