Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has officially revoked the basic membership of singer Salman Ahmad.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar issued the notification, stating that Salman Ahmad’s social media statements created discord among party leaders and workers. It was also alleged that he made posts against the PTI founder and his family.
The notice from PTI declared that the party dissociates itself from Salman Ahmad’s statements. His basic membership has been terminated, and he is prohibited from using PTI’s name in the future.
