PTI in Crisis-Bushra Bibi, D-Chowk Failure, and Tug of War Amid Chaos

-

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is currently grappling with an intense internal crisis, triggered by the collapse of its ambitious “D-Chowk Mission.”

The failure of this high-profile movement has thrown the party into disarray, leading to widespread accusations and a wave of resignations that are threatening its very foundation.

With former Prime Minister Imran Khan behind bars and his wife, Bushra Bibi, facing increased scrutiny, the party is desperately searching for leadership to steer it through this turmoil.

As PTI’s leadership crumbles, Bushra Bibi has become a central figure in the controversy. Allegations regarding her involvement in the D-Chowk mission’s failure are intensifying, with some party leaders accusing her of authoritarian behavior.

Despite her role in leading the mission, Bushra Bibi is now a target of criticism from various quarters, with leaders unwilling to accept her commands, despite respect for her as Imran Khan’s wife.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan’s situation continues to worsen. Currently held under physical remand by Rawalpindi Police at Adiala Jail, his family and party leaders are facing new difficulties in attempting to visit him.

Sources confirm that Khan’s cell is now under the direct control of Rawalpindi’s Newtown Police, and the jail administration no longer has authority over visitation rights.

In the wake of the D-Chowk debacle, PTI’s once-unified structure is unraveling. With resignations flowing in and no clear successor in sight, the party faces a serious leadership vacuum. As accusations fly and trust erodes, the question remains: who will step up to take control of PTI amid this unprecedented crisis?
