The Election Commission of Pakistan addresses code of conduct breaches in the by-elections. On Tuesday, the ECP issued a show-cause notice to Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman for allegedly violating election rules.
Rehman was summoned to appear at the ECP office at 3:00 pm to submit his response, following a notification from the district monitoring officer.
The notice highlighted a ban on public gatherings and large events in Gulberg Town.
