Renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik met with Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at the Parliament House in Islamabad today (Tuesday).
The two discussed key issues, including the challenges facing the Muslim Ummah and the significance of promoting interfaith harmony.
Dr. Naik emphasized the need for the Muslim Ummah to unite under the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. He shared that his ongoing efforts in delivering lectures around the world aim to present the true essence of Islam.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq praised Dr. Naik’s contributions to spreading Islam’s message of peace and tolerance. He highlighted that Islam advocates for love, peace, and coexistence. Sadiq also emphasized that minorities in Pakistan enjoy equal rights and called for unity to address the problems confronting the Muslim Ummah.
Dr. Zakir Naik arrived in Islamabad on Monday for a multi-day visit. Upon his arrival at Islamabad International Airport, he was welcomed by Ministry of Religious Affairs officials, including Syed Dr. Atta ur Rehman, along with Rana Mashood and Parliamentary Secretary for Religious Affairs, Shamsher Ali Mazari.
