Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur is facing significant legal challenges following the filing of an FIR against him under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
He stands accused of inciting violence and leading an assault on a toll plaza along with approximately 300 unidentified individuals.
The incident took place when Gandapur arrived in Lahore to attend a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally and involved damaging windows at the toll plaza and attempting to set vehicles ablaze.
The case, registered at the Manawan police station, carries serious allegations, including terrorism and attempted murder. National Assembly member Shahid Khattak has also been named as a co-accused.
