Renowned Pakistani folk singer Attaullah Esa Khelvi encountered a tumultuous situation during his recent concert in London, as fan violence broke out and videos went viral on social media.
Reports suggest that Khelvi was performing alongside singer Nimra Mehra when tensions escalated, leading to clashes between some of his fans and security personnel.
Media accounts reveal that a group of fans was dancing near the stage when security intervened, igniting a verbal dispute that quickly escalated into a physical altercation. In the videos, Khelvi can be seen seated on stage, observing the turmoil, and he ultimately had to stop his performance.
Social media users criticized the attendees in response to the viral footage, calling them ignorant and expressing concerns that such behavior damages Pakistan’s international reputation.
As of now, neither Attaullah Esa Khelvi nor Nimra Mehra has released a statement regarding the incident.
