Saleema Imtiaz Makes History as First Pakistani Woman on ICC Development Umpires Panel

-

Saleema Imtiaz has made history as the first Pakistani woman nominated for the ICC International Panel of Development Umpires.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the match officials for the current season, and Imtiaz’s nomination qualifies her to umpire in bilateral international series and ICC Women’s events.

She will begin her role by officiating in the T20 home series against South Africa’s women’s
team.

Saleema expressed her pride in this accomplishment, noting it as a significant moment for both herself and the nation.

She thanked the PCB for the opportunity and hopes her nomination will inspire other women.
