PIA Employee Dismissed Over Harassment Claims in Dubai

-

KARACHI: The Sales Regional Manager of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in Dubai is under investigation following several harassment allegations.

These complaints, filed by a female employee of the Dubai-based general sales agent Dnata, prompted immediate administrative action by PIA. The airline received multiple harassment claims against Zeeshan Ahmed, supported by evidence.

In addition to internal complaints, a formal application has been submitted against Ahmed to the Federal Ombudsman for Harassment in Dubai, and it is currently under review.

PIA has suspended Ahmed from his role in Dubai while the investigation is underway. The airline’s spokesperson confirmed its strict zero-tolerance policy on workplace harassment and stated that appropriate actions will be taken if the allegations are proven true.

The investigation into Ahmed’s behavior is ongoing, with further actions to be determined based on the results.
