Dutch Court Convicts TLP leaders for Inciting Murder of Anti Islam Leader

BADHOEVEDORP, Netherlands In a significant ruling, a Dutch court has convicted two Pakistani men for inciting the murder of Geert Wilders.

The Dutch court on Monday convicted two Pakistani men of incitement for urging their followers to murder Geert Wilders, a far-right and anti-Islam leader.

Muhammed Ashraf Jalali and Saad Hussain Rizvi were tried in absentia.

Jalali, a 56-year-old religious leader, received a 14-year prison sentence for inciting his followers to kill Wilders and promising them rewards in the afterlife.

Rizvi, 29, leader of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), was sentenced to four years for urging his followers to kill Wilders in response to the incitement charges against Pakistani cricketer Khalid Latif.
