-

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is gearing up for the Champions One-Day Cup, featuring five teams and showcasing top domestic talent.

In an effort to engage fans, the PCB has announced that group stage matches will be free of charge.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, during a recent meeting in Faisalabad, highlighted that the city was chosen due to its cricket-loving community. He also noted that while group stage matches are free, there will be charges for the knockout rounds.

The tournament, running from September 12 to 29, begins with a match between the Wolves and the Panthers. Naqvi expressed optimism that this event would enhance the national team’s performance and strengthen domestic cricket. Key PCB officials were present at the meeting to finalise preparations.
