US and China Express Solidarity with Pakistan Following Deadly Balochistan Attacks

-

As Pakistan faces a surge in terrorist violence, international allies have voiced strong support and condemnation.

The United States and China have both condemned the recent attacks in Balochistan, where more than 70 people, including security personnel and civilians, were killed.

The attacks, attributed to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), targeted various locations, causing significant loss and disruption.

China, a long-time ally of Pakistan with major investments in the region like the Gwadar port and Saindak mine, expressed profound sorrow over the violence.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian reaffirmed Beijing’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts and maintaining regional stability.

Meanwhile, the United States extended its condolences and reiterated its commitment to standing with Pakistan in its fight against terrorism, as stated by the US embassy in Islamabad.

The European Union also joined the international community in condemning the attacks, with EU Commission Spokesperson Nabila Massrali emphasizing that terrorism and violence undermine democratic foundations.

Germany has expressed concern over the recent violence and offered support to the affected families, hoping for a swift return to peace and stability in the region.
