Jailed PTI founder Imran Khan has forecasted that the current Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government will only remain in power for two more months.
Speaking to journalists in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail, Khan criticized the government, saying, “They are diving into trouble and don’t realize it.”
Khan also addressed recent statements about his response to the May 9 riots, clarifying that he did not seek an unconditional apology but was willing to apologize if PTI activists were proven to be involved in the violence.
He emphasized that his party is seeking justice for the May 9 events and will not negotiate deals, insisting he has not been offered any negotiation proposals yet.
Khan also mentioned plans to present a witness in the Al-Qadir Trust case but chose not to reveal their identity due to safety concerns.
He declared that his party would reject elections overseen by the current government.
