From Pakistan with Love” Support for Bangladesh Amidst Political Turmoil

-

In the wake of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s resignation and the ensuing political turmoil in Bangladesh, Pakistan has voiced its support for the country.

The recent unrest and leadership changes have drawn international attention, and Pakistan is hopeful for a swift return to stability and peace in Bangladesh.

Pakistan has expressed solidarity with Bangladesh, emphasizing a desire for a peaceful and rapid restoration of normalcy.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, “The Government and people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with the people of Bangladesh, sincerely hoping for a peaceful and swift return to normalcy.”

Despite strained relations during Hasina’s tenure, particularly due to her government’s actions impacting regional cooperation, Pakistan remains optimistic.

The appointment of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus as chief adviser of Bangladesh’s interim government, following significant unrest, may lead to potential improvements in diplomatic relations and regional cooperation.
