Karachi’s intense heatwave has eased as a low-pressure system has moved from Indian Gujarat to Oman, providing much-needed relief.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz noted that Karachi is now experiencing more typical July weather, with light rain and drizzle anticipated tonight.
He added that the city should expect cloudy conditions in the coming days. According to the meteorological department, the weather will likely remain overcast with potential for light rain and drizzle in the evenings and nights.
The sea breeze, which had been interrupted by the low-pressure system, has now fully resumed in Karachi. Additionally, another round of monsoon rains is forecasted to impact the city starting July 30.
