Peoples Bus Service Adjusts Routes for Muharram Processions”

During the 9th and 10th of Muharram, Peoples Bus Service in Karachi has announced the suspension of operations on most routes, with only the Malir Halt to Super Highway route remaining operational.

This adjustment, aligned with Karachi traffic police’s Muharram procession management plan, will impact citywide commuting.

On the 8th of Muharram, a procession starting from Nishtar Park will traverse key locations in Karachi, including Muhammad Ali Jinnah Road (closed from Gurumandir to Tower),

Mansfield Street, Preedy Street, Tibet Chowk, Bolton Market, Kharadar, and Nawaz Mahabat Khanjee Road, culminating at Hussainian Iranian Imambargah.

Similarly, on the 9th of Muharram, a procession from Martin Road Imambargah, Liaquatabad, will follow a route passing through Sir Shah Nawaz Bhutto Road, Mehfil-i-Shah-i-Khurasan, MA Jinnah Road, Mansfield Street, Preedy Street, Tibet Chowk, Bolton Market, Bombay Bazaar, Kharadar, and Nawaz Mahabat Khanjee Road, also concluding at Hussainian Iranian Imambargah.
