Karachi: The Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation (SIUT) has taken possession of the Regent Plaza Hotel building.
A banner reading “SIUT Trust Hospital” was displayed on the building on Saturday evening. However, SIUT has yet to announce when hospital services will commence.
The acquisition process began last September when an offer to purchase the hotel for Rs14.5 billion surfaced. After continued payments, the hotel has now been officially handed over to the SIUT Trust.
