CAA Denies Sale of Karachi Airport

-

The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) issued a statement to debunk recent online rumors about the sale of Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, affirming that the airport remains under its management.

“We urge the public to rely on official sources for accurate information and to avoid spreading unverified claims,” the statement emphasized.

A two-member team from the UAE, led by Senior Director of Security Affairs Abdullah Al Kaabi from the General Aviation Authority, arrived in Karachi to assess security measures for direct flights between Pakistan and the UAE. Over the next four days, the team will evaluate various aviation security protocols at Karachi Airport.

The CAA Director of Aviation Security welcomed the Emirati team, with the airport manager and relevant stakeholders attending the inaugural meeting at Karachi Airport.
