“Imran Khan, the founder and chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has accepted the resignation of Omar Ayub as the party’s Secretary General.
Ayub expressed his gratitude to Imran Khan on social media, thanking him for allowing him to focus on his role as Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly.
In his resignation letter, Ayub addressed Imran Khan and PTI Chairman Gohar Ali Khan, and Senator Shibli Faraz delivered the letter to Imran Khan during a meeting at Adyala Jail.
Ayub hinted at upcoming changes in PTI’s organizational structure, as directed by Imran Khan, and thanked the PTI family, parliamentarians, and office holders for their dedication and hard work.”
