Globally renowned Islamic scholar Zakir Naik has addressed shocking health rumors circulating online for the first time.
Several social media posts and websites claimed that Zakir Naik has contracted HIV/AIDS and is being treated in a Malaysian hospital. Some even falsely suggested that his wife Farhat Naik and daughter tested positive.
However, through his lawyer Akbaruddin Abdulqader, Zakir Naik has strongly denied all these claims, stating he is healthy and safe at home. His lawyer called these rumors completely false and baseless, urging the public not to fall for negative propaganda.
Dr. Naik remains active in his work and public engagements.
It’s worth remembering that Zakir Naik faced false charges in India over money laundering, hate speeches, and terrorism funding, which led him to move to Malaysia in 2016.
