The UAE’s Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) has issued the country’s first official lottery license to The Game LLC, marking the launch of the ‘UAE Lottery.’
The license was granted to The Game LLC, an Abu Dhabi-based commercial gaming operator known for its expertise in game development, lottery operations, and related content.
Under the ‘UAE Lottery’ brand, the company will offer a variety of lottery games and other gaming options tailored to different interests and financial preferences.
The GCGRA emphasized that conducting or facilitating commercial gaming activities without authorization is illegal in the UAE and could result in severe penalties.
Jim Murren, chairman of the GCGRA, stated, “The launch of the UAE Lottery is a significant milestone, establishing a world-class regulatory framework for lottery activities and demonstrating our commitment to fostering a secure and enriched commercial gaming environment in the UAE.”
The regulatory authority has developed a framework designed to protect consumers and the interests of all stakeholders involved.

Jim Murren was appointed as chairman, and Kevin Mullally, a seasoned industry professional with over 30 years of experience, was named CEO.
