KARACHI: Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has clarified that there are no visa restrictions for Pakistani citizens wishing to visit the UAE.
His statement came in response to recent reports of visa issues faced by residents of Sindh province.
In a video address on Monday, Dr. Al Remeithi emphasized that Pakistani businessmen, workers, and individuals seeking medical treatment in cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah are being provided with all necessary facilities.

He highlighted the strong cultural, religious, and trade ties between the UAE and Pakistan, which have been solid for over 50 years.
To address the concerns of Sindh residents, the consul general announced the launch of a special awareness program at the Karachi Consulate.
This program aims to guide aspiring travelers to the UAE, advising them to avoid carrying prohibited items and to pack their luggage themselves to prevent any difficulties.
Dr. Al Remeithi also mentioned that a new initiative for the business community will be introduced in the coming days.
This initiative will provide comprehensive support for Pakistani entrepreneurs looking to do business in the UAE or bring UAE companies to Pakistan.
