The ‘Sikh for Justice’ organization has unveiled a bold proposal for a separate Christian state in India, naming it “Trump Land”. Under the United Nations-recognized right to self-determination, the group released a map for this proposed region in northeastern India. Sikh for Justice, which is organizing the global Khalistan referendum, has formally suggested establishing this new state.
According to the organization, the proposed territory would be named after US President Donald J. Trump. Sikh for Justice leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has also appealed directly to the US President for intervention in this matter.
Pannu highlighted that while the world celebrated Christmas, the Christian community in India faced organized violence, attacks, and oppression. Under Prime Minister Modi’s government, not only Christians but also Sikhs in Indian Punjab face severe threats.
He added that the proposed area, historically and locally home to a Christian majority, is known as the “Seven Sisters States”—comprising Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, and Assam. The “Trump Land” plan aims to establish a separate state for Christians to provide security and autonomy to millions of residents.
Pannu emphasized that Christians in India are currently suffering under oppressive state policies. In Modi’s India, preaching the Bible is treated as a crime, churches are being burned, Christian communities attacked, and people displaced and terrorized.
