Triple Shock for Trump — Escalator, Teleprompter, and Mic Failures Raise Sabotage Claim

-

Donald Trump has demanded a full investigation after three back-to-back technical mishaps disrupted his appearance at the United Nations General Assembly.

The U.S. president described the incidents as “triple sabotage” and said the Secret Service is now involved.

The Three Incidents Trump Calls “Sabotage”

  • Escalator Halt: As Trump and First Lady Melania stepped onto the UN escalator, it abruptly stopped. Trump claims it was a deliberate attempt to cause harm.
  • Teleprompter Blackout: Moments before his speech, his teleprompter went dark, forcing him to read from notes for nearly 15 minutes.
  • Silent Speech: After finishing his address, Trump learned that the audio was reportedly off for many world leaders. Even Melania told him, “I couldn’t hear a word you said.”

Trump’s Response

In a fiery post on Truth Social, Trump blasted the events as “A REAL DISGRACE” and accused the UN of negligence. He demanded that all security footage and data from the escalator’s emergency stop button be preserved for investigation.

UN’s Explanation

The UN has denied foul play, saying a U.S. delegation videographer may have accidentally pressed the stop button. Still, Trump points to past reports of UN staff joking about escalator stoppages as evidence of deeper issues.

What’s Next

The incidents have now sparked a Secret Service inquiry, with Trump insisting the UN “should be ashamed” and warning of consequences if sabotage is proven.
