Tehran’s parliament thundered with chants of “Thank you, thank you Pakistan!” in a rare, electrifying moment as lawmakers saluted Islamabad’s bold support amid Iran’s fiery showdown with Israel.
In a charged session, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian tore into Israel’s aggression, warning:
“The enemy is deluded if it thinks assassinations can wipe out our nuclear strength. Our right to peaceful nuclear energy is sacred — and we will never give it up!”
His defiant words set off waves of applause and chants for Pakistan, signaling the deepening brotherhood between the two nations in the face of rising threats.
The parliament floor turned emotional as leaders paid tribute to the martyred scientists, commanders, and soldiers who fell in Israel’s brutal airstrikes.
Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf struck a fierce tone, vowing:
“Now is the time for resistance, not retreat! Iran’s sovereignty is non-negotiable, and the world must witness our strength.”
This fiery show of unity came days after Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stood firm with Iran, declaring full solidarity as missiles fly and the Middle East teeters on the edge of wider war.
