From a Brazilian model’s photo used 22 times to ‘House No. Zero’ entries — Rahul Gandhi uncovers Haryana election irregularities.
New Delhi — November 6, 2025: India’s image as the “world’s largest democracy” is under fire again after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made explosive claims of massive voter fraud in the 2024 Haryana Assembly elections. He alleged that more than 25 lakh fake votes were cast under a “well-planned conspiracy” to ensure BJP’s win.
- Brazilian Model at the Polls?
In a dramatic revelation, Rahul Gandhi showed that the photo of a Brazilian model appeared 22 times under different names — including Seema, Saraswati, and Vilma — across 10 polling booths in Haryana’s Rai constituency.
Calling it a “coordinated operation,” he claimed the voter list was rigged with:
- ⚖️ 5.2 lakh duplicate voters
⚖️ Over 93,000 fake addresses
⚖️ 19 lakh bulk voters
⚖️ And tampering through Forms 6 and 7 (used to add or remove voters)
“This was not human error — it was digital fraud executed to flip Congress’s sure win into defeat,” Rahul asserted.
‘House No. Zero’ and 500 Voters at One Address
Gandhi further alleged that one BJP leader’s house had 500 registered voters, while some fake entries listed ‘House No. Zero’ as their address. He said such data manipulation shows how deep the rot goes in India’s electoral system.
Election Commission Rejects Claims
The Election Commission of India (ECI) denied the allegations, calling them “baseless and politically motivated.”
Officials clarified that no formal complaint was ever filed by the Congress during the 2024 polls or voter-roll revisions. The ECI also questioned why Congress polling agents didn’t raise objections on voting day if the fraud was real.
Political Storm Erupts
Rahul Gandhi’s claims have triggered a fresh political storm. The Congress Party held a candle march in Jind district, demanding an impartial probe, while BJP leaders accused Rahul of spreading “fake narratives” after his party’s poor performance.
Analysts say the controversy has reignited concerns about digital voter data, transparency, and election security — with many calling for independent audits before the next round of state elections.
Democracy or Data Manipulation?
Whether these claims hold up or not, Rahul Gandhi’s “H-Files” expose has reopened a national debate:
Is India’s democracy being weakened by technology-driven manipulation?
The answer may decide the credibility of the next elections.
