Omar Bin Laden, son of Osama bin Laden, has been deported from France and permanently banned for social media posts glorifying terrorism.

Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau confirmed signing the deportation order, stating that Bin Laden had previously been expelled from the country.

Omar Bin Laden, who had been living in Normandy with his British spouse, reportedly caught the attention of authorities after posting a tribute to his father on social media in 2023. French police had previously searched for him in Domfort, Normandy. Further details about his deportation or current whereabouts were not disclosed.
