King Salman has issued a royal order for the hosting of 2,322 Hajj pilgrims including 1,000 families of Palestinians impacted by Israeli actions or detained by Israel.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, this group comprises 1,300 individuals from 88 countries, as well as 22 relatives of conjoined twins who underwent separation surgery in the Kingdom.
The initiative forms part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj and Umrah, managed by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance.
Over the past 26 years, this program has accommodated more than 60,000 pilgrims. Minister Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikhb highlighted that the directive underscores Saudi leadership’s steadfast dedication to the global Muslim community, fostering unity and solidarity through the collective journey of Hajj, generously financed by the king.
Preparations to welcome these pilgrims are in progress, backed by a comprehensive strategic plan.
