Tehran’s Intelligence Touts Mega Intel Heist, Claims Access to Israel’s Nuclear Secrets
In a dramatic twist in the covert war between Iran and Israel, Tehran’s state media has claimed a massive intelligence win — alleging its agencies have obtained thousands of sensitive Israeli documents, including material tied to Israel’s nuclear sites and strategic blueprints.
According to Iran’s PressTV, the operation was conducted earlier but kept under wraps to ensure the vast trove — comprising documents, images, and videos — was safely smuggled into secure locations within Iran. “The scale of material was so overwhelming, it took time just to move and begin reviewing it,” sources told the outlet.
The report hints this may be linked to a cyberattack on Israel’s nuclear research facility last year — with Iran now choosing the perfect moment to go public, possibly as a strategic counter to ongoing nuclear tensions.
The disclosure flips the script on Israel’s 2018 operation, when then-PM Netanyahu famously revealed a stash of Iranian nuclear files seized by Mossad. This time, Tehran is in the spotlight — claiming it’s sitting on Israel’s nuclear playbook.
As nuclear negotiations with Washington hang by a thread, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has called U.S. demands to halt uranium enrichment “100% against our national interest.” Meanwhile, Tehran says it will soon present its own nuclear proposal in response to what it calls an “ambiguous” U.S. offer.
