In a recent interview, Kashif Mehmood opened up about his struggles and triumphs in the entertainment world. He shared that he began his career as an extra, working for seven years while facing financial difficulties. As the eldest son in his family, he had significant responsibilities to manage.
Kashif recalled his first scene, in which his face was not visible, aired on PTV. He would tell others that he had acted in the drama, even though he was shown from behind. Despite these challenges, he continued to work tirelessly, eventually establishing a successful career in the industry.
He also revealed that he took out a loan to produce his hit drama Ashiyana. To fund the project, he not only borrowed money but also mortgaged his house and his mother’s jewelry. Though the drama became a huge success, the channel did not pay him as promised.
