Chahat Fateh Ali Khan—the man whose gloriously off-key singing turned “Bado Badi” into an internet anthem—is back in the spotlight. And this time, he’s not just embracing the noise, he’s cranking it up, boldly declaring himself the greatest singer in the world!
In a recent TV interview, Khan Sahib finally addressed all the online roasting and memes. His response? Pure gold. “People are jealous of me,” he said confidently.
“My voice is something they can’t even dream of.”
(And judging by social media reactions, that might be true—for better or worse!)
But the self-proclaimed singing sensation didn’t stop there. He revealed that some so-called “professional” singers refuse to perform alongside him, apparently threatened by his, ahem, raw talent. “They act arrogant,” he said, “but I do everything myself—composing, singing, performing. I don’t care if people call me a singer or not. I know what I am.”
Khan also tackled the endless trolling over his viral hit “Bado Badi.” According to him, his version is not a copy, but a creative twist. He added, “Even Noor Jehan didn’t become famous from the original, nor did Mumtaz. So why make a fuss over mine?”
And, in true Chahat style, he concluded, “By the way, my version is for women.”
Whether you love him or cringe every time he sings, one thing’s for sure—Chahat Fateh Ali Khan isn’t going anywhere. In fact, with every note he sings (or misses), he only gets louder, prouder, and somehow… even more viral.
