You’ve often heard of “chicken in hotels,” but this could be the first time there’s a “hotel in a chicken.” Located in Thailand, this chicken-shaped hotel has captured everyone’s attention.
This is definitely something unique!
In the Philippines, a massive, 114-foot, 7-inch rooster-shaped hotel recently earned a Guinness World Record for being the largest building in the shape of a chicken. This unique structure, part of Campuestohan Highland Resort in Negros Occidental, includes 15 air-conditioned rooms for guests.
Resort owner Ricardo Cano Gwapo Tan wanted the building to stand out, saying, “I aimed to create something with a wow factor that people would remember.” The rooster design also reflects the local culture, as the gamefowl industry plays a major role in the area’s economy, employing millions. Tan added, “A rooster’s calm yet strong presence symbolizes the spirit of our people.”
