Mr.Beast, the popular YouTuber and mastermind behind some of the most viral and extravagant videos on the internet, is again under fire . This time facing scrutiny as the Ontario Ministry of Labour investigates a serious accident on the set of his Bess Games production.
The incident, which occurred during the filming of an Amazon Prime series, has sparked fresh concerns about safety on his high-budget productions.
According to reports, the accident took place on September 11, 2024, at a film location in Toronto, where a large piece of wood fell from a tower built in a miniature village.
One crew member was injured in the incident and remains in the hospital for treatment.
The ministry has issued instructions to the production houses Blink 49 Studios and Manhattan Beach Studios. However, further details will not be disclosed until the investigation is completed.
Concerns regarding safety measures on Bess Games productions had previously been raised.
A Rolling Stone article highlighted such allegations, and YouTuber Rosanna Pansino hinted at further revelations.
MrBeast had denied these allegations in a December 2024 video, stating that reports of broken bones or “buying silence” on set were baseless.
Currently, MrBeast has not commented on this new investigation, but the accident is raising more questions about the series’ production.
