Lahore: Significant progress has been reported in the case involving famous YouTuber Saad Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, regarding his YouTube accounts and seized equipment.
The hearing took place at District Court Lahore, focusing on the custody and management of the YouTuber’s accounts and other equipment confiscated during the investigation.
During the proceedings, the prosecutor informed the court that Saad Rehman has already uploaded eight videos on his YouTube channel since the incident.
The Assistant Director of NCCIA raised a critical question in court, highlighting that the YouTube account in question is still part of the ongoing legal case. He expressed concern over the possibility of the YouTuber deleting or modifying videos that are considered evidence in the case.
In response, Ducky Bhai assured the court that he had submitted an affidavit, stating that no videos would be altered or removed. He further clarified that the recent uploads were not done by him personally but by his editor, prompting the court to ask for the editor’s details.
Ducky Bhai informed the court that the editor is a friend residing in Hyderabad.
The court also questioned the NCCIA Director, asking if they were aware that account access was shared with another individual. The director explained that, in some cases, account owners do not provide access to editors.
After hearing arguments from both parties and their legal representatives, the court reserved its decision, leaving the matter pending for further judgment.
