PSL 9 Begins with a Bang:

The much-awaited PSL 9 is set to begin today with an electrifying match between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United at the Gaddafi Stadium. Lahore, the two-time champions (2022 and 2023), will face off against Islamabad, also two-time champions (2016 and 2018), in what promises to be a thrilling encounter starting at 8pm Pakistan time.

Islamabad United stands as a formidable franchise in the Pakistan Super League, renowned for its bold and courageous cricketing style.

Peshawar Zalmi

Peshawar Zalmi, one of the premier teams of HBL PSL 9 2024, is owned by Javed Afridi, a distinguished Pakistani business executive and entrepreneur. The franchise proudly represents Peshawar, the capital city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan.

Karachi Kings

Karachi Kings, a competitive franchise in the HBL PSL 9 2024 lineup, stands as a prominent contender in the Pakistan Super League. Salman Iqbal, owner of the ARY Media Group, holds the reins of the Karachi Kings franchise.

Multan Sultans

Multan Sultans, the sixth franchise in the Pakistan Super League, was not part of the league's initial lineup but was introduced by PSL management in 2018. Initially sold to Schon Properties, a Dubai-based real estate developer, for a staggering 41.6 million dollars over 8 years, it became the most expensive franchise in the PSL.
