The countdown to the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 has officially begun, and cricket fans are eagerly awaiting the tournament’s thrilling encounters. With the preliminary schedule now revealed, the stage is set for a month of high-octane action starting on February 19.

Opening Ceremony: Likely to take place in Karachi.

First Match: Pakistan vs New Zealand on February 19 in Karachi.

Pakistan’s Second Match: Pakistan vs Bangladesh on February 24 in Rawalpindi.

Pakistan vs India: One of the most anticipated clashes, scheduled for March 1 in Dubai.

India’s First Match: India vs Bangladesh on February 20.

India’s Second Match: India vs New Zealand on February 23 in Dubai.

Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore: Hosts its first match on February 22, with Australia vs England.

Afghanistan vs England: February 25 at Gaddafi Stadium.

Australia vs South Africa: February 26 in Rawalpindi.

Bangladesh vs New Zealand: February 27 in Lahore.

Afghanistan vs Australia: February 28 in Rawalpindi.

Final Group-Stage Match: South Africa vs England on March 2 in Rawalpindi.

The semi-finals are scheduled as follows:

First Semi-Final: March 5.

Second Semi-Final: March 6.

Final Match: March 9.

According to the proposed schedule:

Both semi-finals are expected to be held in Pakistan.

If India advances to the semi-finals and final, those matches will be hosted in Dubai.

If India does not make it to the semi-finals, the final will be moved to Lahore.
