Pakistan were dismissed for 211, with South African bowlers Corbin Bosch (4-63) and Dane Paterson (5-61) dominating the innings. Pakistan’s batting struggled, as key players like Shan Masood, Babar Azam, and Saud Shakeel fell cheaply. Kamran Ghulam’s 54 was the highlight, but a late collapse saw them lose three quick wickets.

In response, South Africa finished the day at 82-3, with Pakistan’s bowlers Khurram Shahzad and Mohammad Abbas striking early. Shahzad removed Tony de Zorzi and Ryan Rickelton, while Abbas trapped Tristan Stubbs lbw. Aiden Markram’s steady 34 not out helped keep South Africa in the game.
